- Short-Term Punctal Occlusion – Designed to temporarily occlude the punctum to reduce tear drainage and help retain natural tears on the ocular surface.
- Absorbable Synthetic Implant – Manufactured from an absorbable copolymer of glycolic acid and trimethylene carbonate, engineered for predictable, controlled absorption.
- Up to 3-Month Duration – Provides temporary occlusion for up to approximately 3 months, offering longer support than collagen plugs without permanent placement.
- Well Suited for Post-Surgical Use – May be used following ocular procedures, including LASIK, to help manage temporary dry eye and reduce dry eye–related complications during recovery.
- Effective for Temporary Dry Eye Management – Appropriate for patients experiencing transient dry eye symptoms who require short-term tear retention support.
- Intracanalicular Placement – Designed for placement within the canaliculus to block tear outflow through the lacrimal drainage system.
- Color-Enhanced Visibility – Dyed with D&C Green #6 to aid visualization during placement and confirmation of positioning.
